DIY | Name Art
I always see these old paintings at thrift stores in nice frames, but never see myself hanging them in my living room, because they are just not really my taste.

So I decided to use them for a quick and simple ‘wall art project’. It’s so easy and I am especially curious on how you would paint your name on it! I choose to paint my name very roughly, but there are so many fun ways! I hope you enjoy!

Here’s how:

Supplies: Old paintings in frame | Sandpaper | Paint | Brush

1. Sand the picture frame.
2. Apply the first coat of paint and cover the whole painting. Let the paint dry.
3. Apply a second layer of paint and let dry.
4. Grab a thinner paintbrush and write your name over the 2 paintings. Make the lines as thick as you want.

One of the vintage stores in my city had a big sale last week and I just fell in love with this fifties dress! And after I bought it, I started thinking of ways to share the newest addition to my ‘dress collection’ ;) with you. When I stumbled upon this wonderful post on the pineneedlecollective

Annika photoshoped herself as a cute little person in her outfit post, and I just had to try it too!

So here is me, showing you my new fifties dress, with my grandfathers vintage clock on the background. Remember it’a little bit of an experience, but I just loved to do it! I hope you like it!

TREND | Bows
I just can’t say it enough: I love Bows! I guess I’m just a very girly girl, but when I spot something that has a bow on it, I have to have it!

And I know that I’m not the only one with this obsession ;) So here’s a special Trend Post, including everything bow! Enjoy!

Inspirational Tuesday
I think I just fell in love with this amazing artist: she has crocheted the craziest things, wears extravagant outfits, lives in New York City and uses many bold colors in her work! What’s not to love!

Agata Oleksiak (Olek) was born in Poland and currently lives in New York City. She crochets and turns her work into art, she uses her everyday life as an inspiration and definitely has no limit when it comes down to crocheting, and we really thank her for that!

If after the following images you still can’t get enough of her work, like I did than check out her website!

Who doesn’t have a couple of these cheap (Ikea) picture frames lying around in the house? They are so affordable and easy to use for many projects! Just put a nice color of paint on there and fill it with art!

But, wait.. art? Is it really that easy to make my own art? Well, with this easy tutorial it definitely is!

Supplies:
Watercolor Paper | Watercolor Paint | Paintbrush | Pencil | Eraser | Hobby Knife | Free Art Template

1. Download the Free Art Template. Print or trace the template on regular paper and cut the drawing out with a knife.

2. Cut the watercolor paper in the size of your picture frame. Place the printed or traced paper on top of the watercolor paper.
 3. Mix your watercolor paint with a little bit of water and paint the shape onto the watercolor paper. Don’t be afraid to use more than one color!
Let the paint dry and place your new art in the picture frames!

All done!

OUTFIT | Love, Lace & Leather
The best thing that living out of a suitcase in New York has taught me is to wear pieces of clothing in different ways.
I just love to take one basic piece (this gorgeous leather skirt from Chicwish) and combine it with things that I usually wouldn’t even think of wearing with a skirt.

So you might think that I am wearing a cute lace top in these photos, but actually it’s a dress! (from H&M's conscious collection)
And that big bow on my head? Not a headband, it’s a belt! Yes, you read it right, I used a belt as a headband;)

Wearing these items in different ways, can change your look completely and really expand your wardrobe!
