DIY | Bangle Watch
I don’t know what it is about the watches that I buy, but the wristband always seems to break within a week! So it’s time to find a solution to not let the watch itself go to waist. I have been thinking of different ways to create a new watch, and I just love this DIY, but I really wanted to come up with something more ‘me’.
So I bought a few cheap plan bangles while I was still in New York and started to play with different types of ribbon.
This DIY was so much fun to do! And I just love how the watch turned out!**

Supplies:
Plain Bangles | Super Glue | Watch | Different Types of Ribbon | Scissors

1. Remove the band from your watch.
2. Wrap ribbon around the bangle to create a base.
3. Use a drop of glue to secure the end of the ribbon.
4. Try different types of ribbon and cords and don’t be afraid to mix colors!
5. Ue a smaller piece of ribbon to attach the watch to the bangles. I used three bangles next to each other as a base and placed the watch on top.

* Decorate more bangles to match your new watch!
** Just a quick note to say that because of the weight, the clock does place itself under your wrist, I personally don’t mind this, but I just wanted to mention this :)

DIY | Shoe Restyle
Today I’m sharing another summer shoe upcycle!

Walking on heels in the summer is a must, but sometimes flats can make your day a bit more comfortable :) So I am sharing this DIY to restyle those simple comfy shoes into some serious summer sneakers!
Supplies:
Shoes (Primark) | Ribbon | Fabric Glue | Hobby Knife
1. Clean your shoes
2. Place the ribbon over the shoes and cut the ribbon with a few extra centimeters
3. Glue the front of the shoes
4. Place the ribbon over the glue and press on all the edges to secure.
5. Glue the back of the shoes and place the ribbon on top.
6. When the glue has dried, use your knife to cut the ribbon. Be careful not to press to hard on the knife!

DIY | Picture Frame Restyle
There are a lot of picture frame upcycle/restyle projects online that are amazing. And I love all of them! But what I do miss is a project to match frames and to give them a simple twist.

So I decided to also post a picture frame restyle project, but a very simple one and adjustable to any taste!

Here’s how:
Supplies:
Plane Picture frame | Paint | Paint Brush | Ribbon | Glue (I used fabric glue, but all-purpose glue would also work)
1. Remove the glass from the frame and apply two coats of paint.
2. Place your ribbon on the frame and measure. Cut the ribbon in the correct size.
3. Apply the glue on the picture frame.
4. Place the ribbon and press to secure.

All done!
